Confirmed from Storm Mountain Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Storm Mountain Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (543 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“The services are good, the bathroom is well maintained, the playground is engaging with a good variety of different obstacles appropriate for different ages.”

For how compact it is, there's such a variety of what to do! Plenty of parking (likely for the basin park below to the west, which has soccer and baseball setups), a pavilion with 11 bench tables, restrooms attached and garbage cans, lots of mature trees, benches and grass for picnic blankets, tennis courts, a bike…

★★★★★ — Emily , May 2023

Hosted one of our RSL Summer Soccer clinics at Storm Mountain at the end of July. The park was undergoing a facelift, looked like they are putting in pickle ball courts and redoing some of the sidewalks, so it was a bit unwelcoming for our event.

This park has a lot to offer. The services are good, the bathroom is well maintained, the playground is engaging with a good variety of different obstacles appropriate for different ages.

★★★★★ — Jonathan , Sep 2022

It's small, clean, and has a playground suited for toddlers. Parking has about 20-30 stalls if that; however, there is some street parking on 11400 South. It does have bathrooms and a covered picnic area. It also has a paved walking trail that goes around the field.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
