Confirmed from The Islands Trail Head - The Centennial Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park and swimming area with a footbridge spanning the Spokane River.
What runners say about The Islands Trail Head - The Centennial Trail
“Beautiful place to walk, lots of areas to go down to the river, to stone stack, fish, swim or whatever!”
This is a great place to take the quick walk. When you arrive and look up you see arbor crest. For disabled people their are two Parking spots at the bottom with a bathroom. Their is a lock bridge where people hang their decorated locks. There is a small raft and canoe launch. It’s a 2.
Absolutely beautiful place to be! This is a great place to take kids and animals for walks and river swimming! This place has a few places to come into with small beaches! Can be privatish place but its not secret so make sure to be happy! People are our friends!
Beautiful Trailhead! I've only been there once but I'll definitely be going back soon. It looks like when the river is low there might be excellent swimming.
Great walk. It has some hills so you get a challenge. You need to be careful because bikes go really fast and come out of nowhere sometimes.
