Confirmed from The trails at the MSV's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a new park which opened the day before Thanksgiving. I used the MSV entrance this time but there are a few entrances for this park. Plenty of parking even on opening day. Some parts of the park are still under construction but there is so much to explore.

Large parking lot, very nice trail system. Free to walk the trails and there is wildlife, forest and artwork all along the trails. We enjoyed this very much to help us break up our long ride. This stop was recomended by the local tourist info center and were were glad they pointed it out.

I love taking walks and hiking with my husband and kids. We just walked the trails at MSV for the first time ever and the views were gorgeous. They were floating wooden docks that went zig zagging across the top of a cute pond and a gorgeous hilltop meadow. A nice walk to spend time with nature and clear your head.

Great walking trails. Dog friendly with several clean up stations. Not a super long or strenuous hike rather a relaxing set of paths with some slight inclines. Even has a connection to Jefferson Street behind Handley High School making it a nice bypass for those walking across town.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
