Confirmed from Trail of the Coeur D'Alenes' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A biking, walking or jogging track (or “rail trail” with a rail trail bike), featuring restrooms and views of Lake Coeur d'Alene.

“Along the way, there are countless scenic spots to visit, with plenty of opportunities to dip your feet or take a refreshing swim.”
Probably my favorite rail trail that I’ve biked. Beautiful scenery and in excellent condition. I was planning on biking the entirety of the trail. However, a moose blocking it at about the midway point and didn’t want to move lol
If you want a beautiful walking, running, biking, or strolling trail then this one is great. Biking from the trail head in Plummer, Idaho to Harrison, Idaho takes about 1 hour 15 min on a road bike. 16 miles one way. That's not pushing it. Stopping a few times, taking pics along the way. Also depending on weather.
Very very nice biking and walking trail. Nice wide paved trail running seventy plus miles from Plummer Idaho to Mulan Idaho. The scenery is nothing short amazing with lake and water views and lots of wild life. Most of the trail is mostly flat with some 3% grades leading up from the water at the ends.
What an amazing trail! We biked several miles on it and had a fantastic time! We didn’t see any other people the entire time and it felt really remote the further we went on. It was a great time to get out of the car and get several miles of biking in I highly suggest doing this trail!
