I love the hikes here, Broads Fork is my favorite. I have been coming here ever since I was a little kid. I have seen multiple mountain goats here.
I searched maps for snowshoe trails & this was closest. We went up the Ferguson Canyon trail, staying on the “dog trail”. It was a nice spot, maybe a little rocky to maneuver with the shoes, but we’ll be back with crampons to explore further & definitely when it’s warmer with the dogs (although I noticed signs…
This is one hell of a hike, in the last two miles you would gain 3000 ft but that’s what a hike means
