Confirmed from UWF Bike Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a scenic area to go hiking or biking. We went hiking, but the trails would be awesome for mountain bikers. We really liked the boardwalk nature trail by the main university campus. The Magnolia trees located there were the largest I have ever seen. One of the trails takes you to a lagoon area.

Great MTB trails. 22 miles total with half on each side of the road. The side with the parking lot is a mixed loop of xc and some fun downhills. On the other side of the road is the games loop. It has normal xc trail and also an area with jump lines and wooden features

First mountain bike trails I ever rode on. Lots of wood features and fun stuff on the no-parking side of the rode. The side you park on has significantly longer trails but no man-made features that I've seen.

Let's face it... it's Florida.. flat and boring but these trails make it tolerable. Best trails in the Northwest part of the State.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
