Confirmed from Vereen Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful 114-acre park for walking along marsh areas via bridges and boardwalks.
What runners say about Vereen Memorial Park
“It is a pet friendly place but leash is required, had two portable restrooms that are well kept.”
“Very nice park with beautiful marsh views from boardwalks, trails through woods, picnic areas”
“There are places to park and seems to be a serene place for quiet time if you want to take time to yourself to clear your mind or just read a book.”
Absolutely beautiful first thing in the morning. There are still people walking their dogs without a leash which takes some of the joy out of being in the park.
Love this park! Boardwalk at sunset has stunning views of the marsh and waterway. Tranquil and relaxing. Great walking trails, pet friendly, and volunteers are the best!
What a peaceful place for a walk on the trails! We love going here and try to go often. Your walk is to or along the intercoastal. You can bring your dog, have a picnic, walk a trail, write a message on a shell and hang it on a tree. Just love this place. We park by Rte 17 and walk trails to the inner coastal.
Beautiful place for a walk. Maintained by volunteers, trails are clean and great boardwalk.
