Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Veterans Memorial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (175 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“This park is always clean and offers a wide variety of things to do.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“It was a beautiful day out with the dogs.”

Park is very clean and quiet. Love the trail way and all the options you have to walk while being shaded under trees and nature is kept unbothered. Also, my toddler gets to enjoy the park now that she has more options on what to do. The dog area is a bonus of course.

Awesome park in a very nice neighborhood. Has swings, playgrounds a baseball field nice places to jog and walk. A town building bathrooms and much more.

There are 2 decent sized runs - looks like one is for smaller dogs and one for larger, but I have seen bigger dogs in the small dog run, when no other small dogs are around; presumably to allow…

This park is always clean and offers a wide variety of things to do. There's plenty of pickleball courts for everyone, 1 tennis court, a basketball court, several swing sets, 2 dog park areas and trails for biking or walking. The park is located in a nice area, not too far away from the village.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
