Confirmed from Victory Steps at Verrado's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This was truly amazing! First time visiting was this past Sunday & the steps up were a great workout! Everyone that does the trail has courtesy so dont feel like your going to slow or fast. The views are breath taking, literally lol! Will continue to visit location weekly.

I actually drove a bit further past the stairs, hanging a left into the parking after the turn. There are paths on that side, that may offer shade depending on time of day and year. The path is a little step, fairly clean, and somewhat easy to continually follow.

This was a great workout, the 340 steps are steep but worth the climb. It’s a pretty view at the top. You can climb the stairs with tennis shoes but if you want to go beyond I recommend hiking boots. It is busy on the weekends. The parking lot is small but if you wait a few minutes someone is usually coming out.

Extremely fun hike to the top! Beautiful surrounding views. We’re making this a part of our regular hike and coming back at least once a month. Highly recommend doing it first thing in the morning, especially during the summer time. And bring water!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
