Confirmed from W.P. Jones Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about W.P. Jones Memorial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (222 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“Cute trails for kids to wander, plenty of shade, and convenient bathrooms.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Nice and quiet most of the time and able to watch the kids without a swarm of people around and a little creek and trail to teach them about nature”

What a fantastic little park! It has a wonderful mixture of playground and nature with an added bonus of an old train car to walk through. Bathrooms and picnic pavilion next to a small field, lots of little trails running around a creek, medium size playground with swings for older and younger, musical installation.

Great park. Loved the emptiness.. I used to play tennis right next to this place and never knew this place existed... It is run down but perfect for people that don't want people around..

Very serine park. Not much people around since it’s the colder season. Trails have multiple entrance from the front of the park. Very great park.

Great park to bring the family to. Every year in fact this is where my nephews birthday party is held. There are a couple of trails, 2 playgrounds, and a tennis court.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
