Confirmed from Warnimont Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park featuring lake views, a golf course and dog park and trails for running.
What runners say about Warnimont Park
“Very clean, they have a free archery range and a nice trail to walk or bike ride through.”
“This is a great little 18-hole par 3 course with beautiful views of Lake Michigan.”
Rather peaceful park, good for nature hiking, walking, jogging, biking, with some views of Lake Michigan. I would actually rate this park 3.5 if it were an option. Some of the signage warning of an unstable cliff probably should have been in more than one place.
Really nice park with lots of space and lots and lots of trails. The beach area has a large Cliff along the whole route. Very very scenic. Lots of picnic areas great for rollerblading biking walking running jump rope skipping or generally acting stupid 😂
I love the scenic walking trails here. There are plenty of wildflowers of much variety and adventurous paths through the woods.
A beautiful park with cliff side views. Oak leaf trail runs through it and is (mostly) plowed in the winter. There’s also some other little trails through the woods that are nice when it’s not snowy.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
