Confirmed from Welchester Tree Grant Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great loop trail here! Just a nice walk with some wooded shady spots and some open space sunny areas and lots of spots to go off and explore the creek!

Really great smallish yet feels bigger park. Much of it is trees, so perfect for a shaded walk in the summer. Many trails for a relatively compact area. There is a stream that flows through there as well.

★★★★★ — Brian , Apr 2021

**no bathrooms** **no sitting benches** Very peaceful walk. Mostly level but there are some hilly areas. Sounds of birds and bugs galore. Lots of shady walking and near a babbling creek. Parking: on the street. Very easy. No parking between 11 PM - 5 AM.

I have a broken foot and I love getting outside, but I obviously have to limit my mobility at this time. This park has trails that are easy to walk on in my condition, while still giving a feeling of being in the wilderness, somewhat. There are many trails and little paths to walk on, and it's never crowded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
