Confirmed from Wild Turkey Mountain Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Wild Turkey Mountain Bike Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (97 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Excellent trail and well kept.”

This is fun fast trail. Lots of up n downs, twisting turns. It is NOT a loop, but have to be mindful of others on the trail. Wasn’t a problem, everyone here was pleasant. We had a great ride.

★★★★★ — Nicole , Nov 2020

Great trail system. Wild Turkey has some elevation changes, but not any huge climbs. If you cross the lake and ride on the trails on the other side, it's mostly flat but has a lot of mileage. It's an out an back on both sides of the lake. If you are hiking, you can make it a loop as two large sections are hiking only.

★★★★★ — Scott , Aug 2023

Great long biking trail with some technical parts and a few optional routes for some portions. It is bumpier than some trails, with quite a few roots, but it a pretty good all round trail. I would recommend biking here.

★★★★☆ — Cucachima , May 2020

Fun trail with a little bit of difficulty and surprise around some curves with some uphill climbs. Trail is 4.8 in one direction, so you have to ride there and back or take the walking trail next to it back.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
