Confirmed from Wildwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“This is such a little cute secluded well kept park perfect for those of us who do not like those super crowded areas.”

This is such a little cute secluded well kept park perfect for those of us who do not like those super crowded areas. It is a nice place to have a date or just an area to unwind and journal. It has a little walking trail. Which is perfect for you to get your exercise in while the kiddos are playing

Love this park, there is a loop to walk and a large park and a smaller toddler park. My only complaint is that if you have kids that are different ages and want to play at both parks there isn't a great place for parents to see both parts at the same time unless you stand on the stairs in the middle and you are in the…

You’re local neighborhood playground. This is a great little community park. There are a couple paved trials that loop around the park along with two playgrounds. One for little kids and one for larger kids. Enjoy the marsh in the middle and the flowering trees in the spring.

Peaceful little park with small and big kid playgrounds and paved trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Wildwood Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • Loop distance9 mi back to where you parked. Long enough for a real long run.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
