Confirmed from William E. Clark Presidential Park Wetlands' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular park known for its river views, steel bridge and trails.
What runners say about William E. Clark Presidential Park Wetlands
“Beautiful place to walk day or night to see the true beauty of the city but I prefer at night because of the heat and humidity, but it's wonderful either time.”
“A lovely quiet walk on a busy weekend ♡”
Our favorite place to take our daily family walk, we go 4 to 6 days out of the week. It's children and dog friendly. We go during the morning in the afternoon or evening every time it's a pleasant walk. Rain or shine is safe and pleasant family friendly. Great views for photos. Perfect to have a picnic.
Really love this huge park! There are 4 trails around the area. I could also walk my dog around and bring it to the nostalgia steel bridge for a walk too. At the beginning of the bridge, there is a dog station that you can get the poop bags for usage too.
Beautiful place to walk day or night to see the true beauty of the city but I prefer at night because of the heat and humidity, but it's wonderful either time. There are several bridges and walkways and trails to explore so it has high revisit appeal.
Lots of birds here today. It's nice and cool in the shade here. There's a turtle family chillin on a rock.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
