Confirmed from Winsor Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Winsor Trail
“Such a beautiful place for a walk.”
My favorite place to go hiking in Gladwyne! It really makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a forest 😌 you can actually walk from here through Henry Lane Park all the way to Saunders Woods Preserve for about a 2 hour round trip which is a pretty long continuous trail for the area!
Nice, reasonably well marked trail that connects to Henry Lane Pk and Saunders Woods. Starting at Ashburn Field (where you can park), round trip to Saunders Woods is about 3 miles. Add a couple of miles in Saunders Woods and you have a nice workout (there's a fair amount of elevation gain).
Excellent trail with a large loop with some smaller loops within it. I recommend checking trails out on the All Trails app so you can see where the loops are. The outer loop takes me about an hour at a steady walking pace. There's lots of birds singing and great sun exposure along the path.
Such a beautiful place for a walk. Now it’s one of my favourite trails around Philly

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
