We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Wynn-Jones Preserve County Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wynn-Jones Preserve County Park
The beginning of the trail is now marked with a sign on a pole on the right hand side of the road just up from the turn off from Beach Drive. There is only parking for one or two cars. The beginning of the trail is very clear and easy walking with some mild ups and downs.
The trailhead has room for one car, MAX. Sad, because the trails are well-maintained. I think you can try parking at the entrance, as a spur of the trail is just above the entrance. From walking it, there are three paths that go to surface streets.
A hidden gem of a walking trail. Not really a park, but a great little hike that will offer some solitude.
A nice walking area. About a 20 minute slow paced walk. Like others have said parking is limited.
Trail conditions & character
“We did not find the real parking lot, so parked off to the side of a one lane road.”
