We had fun here. We walked down to the beach. The sand was amazing. If you like to walk or run on a large beautiful beach, this place is for you. If you want to bring your kids to build sand castles and have a large space to watch them play, this is a good place for it.
A small but wonderful area in Newport, OR. The area is home to the historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, which sits at the highpoint of the recreation site. It overlooks the beach below which boasts small sand dunes and the North Jetty.
Hi there! This is a beautiful place to check. There is a trail that connects the beach with the park where you have to walk all the way crossing the rock bridge. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the lighthouse opens on Wednesday so we couldn’t check that part. However the view from that place is stunning!
One of my favorite spots to eat an outdoor breakfast when I'm in Newport. Lots of picnic tables, beautiful views, lighthouse, and usually uncrowded beach, possibly due to all the stairs and long trail to get to it 😁. Perfect for a foggy coastal morning having pastry and chai with your best fur friend
