Great place for a winter hike with many trail options. This is generally highly trafficked down low, so microspikes are helpful in the winter. Even though it is highly trafficked the tree cover, canyons, gullies and draws are such that you don't see a lot of people after the first mile - so it has a good secluded feel…
Great trail couple of different ones to choose from. Definitely need to share the road and be respectful of the horses and the mountain bikers. Amazing place to go in the winter as well!
Always a nice hike up Yellow Fork and associated trails. Year round stream to keep doggone cool and hydrated.
Absolutely massive trail system that you can take far, far back into the mountains. You can hike all the way up to 10,000 feet if you want to. Some trails stay in the canyons and are shaded, others climb onto Ridgeline with sunning views of the surrounding hills and also the Wasatch range to the east across the valley.
