Park has nice views of the bay, but be aware that it does have some very steep hills.
Very nice local park. Have a picnic then take a walk on the trails. Views of Irondequoit Bay are great. The trails are well marked and used. Take white to green for the bay views. If you have a map, you can make lots of fun loops throughout the park. Spend a few hours.
I love it, this park is so deceptive. From the street, it looks like a little dinky park with a couple picnic tables and playground. But in reality, it's enormous with winding, hilly trails that takes you deep into a forest. Very nice
Nice two hour hike on white, black and red trails. There are also the green and yellow trails. I would advise not bringing small children as the are steep ravines that the trails are on and footing can be slippery after storms. Beautiful views of the bay from the cliffs and bluffs.
