Confirmed from Arlington Park & Clubhouse's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Arlington Park & Clubhouse

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (270 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“It’s almost perfect for kids with play structures, pond, mature trees, picnic areas, views and large, well-kept grounds.”

I grew up here. A little history; When we moved to El Cerrito in the late 50's, this was a big pond with a derelict house sort of sinking into it. There was a horse stable at the bottom of the hill up against Arlington Blvd. which burned down in 1959 or '60.

Cute park and great recreational activities available to the community. Restrooms are available on site, but require a key that you can purchase from the city/county. There is also a small creek that runs through there.

★★★★☆ — Kj , Jul 2019

Nice place for kids, may be one the best in area but too small. Nice to play but no place to walk. On the map I cod see routes going up to the tilden and wild cat canion parka but in reality could not find them.

★★★★☆ — Daria , Jun 2016

Very nice park with a large pond that has fish and crayfish. The park is pretty big so lots of room to play, fun, walk, run, picnic, play ball. Etc.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 10 mentions

“Restroom still locked but water fountain is new w/bottle fill not just traditional water fountain”
