Confirmed from Arrowhead Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Arrowhead Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (316 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Surprisingly well maintained trails along Jordan River.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Arrowhead Park is a beautiful park to walk in.”

Great place to see lots of wildlife (Ducks, Turtles, Snakes, Eagles, Pelicans, Squirrels and a large variety of birds) Behind the picnic area is a bridge that crosses the river and leads to a plastic boardwalk. Lots of little off chutes and trails keep walks here fun.

Arrowhead Park is a beautiful park to walk in. I really enjoyed walking there except for one thing. There are lots of bike riders who ride very fast on the narrow parts of the trail and pass you without saying on your left or right to warn you they are coming up quickly behind you.

★★★★★ — Linda , Jun 2022

Nice little park especially if you have a dog, lots of walking trails. And I nice little water fountain for you and your pupper, and some cool shady picnic areas with benches

★★★★☆ — D , Jul 2021

Love walking this trail before it gets too hot, and busy with runner's, and bikers that don't follow common courtesy biker laws!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
