Confirmed from Arshamomaque Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Arshamomaque Preserve
“This is the most beautiful untouched little preserve on the north fork!”
“Quiet, pretty and peaceful”
Follow the path to the outlook, sit and enjoy the many Osprey and other birds. The property is not so large so you can cover it in two hours. We also saw turtles on the pond. Free parking. The property was donated by the owner of the Sound View Inn across the highway. We went from there to walk around Greenport.
Lovely and nice for leisurely walks on there trails. Watch out for ticks, mosquitoes and poison Ivy! Lots of that.
Hidden gem, great trails for beginners. Great for enjoying the finer parts of nature without the effort of tough trails. Also, there's a secret outlook that gives a great view.
We parked on Chapel Lane and took a 40 minute hike. Could have taken shorter or longer routes. Flat terrain with some roots and uneven areas. Mostly wooded. Well maintained trails with trail colors marked at major intersections but not everywhere. Double track and single track. The lookout tower was well worth it!!

- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
