Confirmed from Grove Creek Canyon Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is an absolutely beautiful area. The view from up here is really spectacular. With the entire Utah Valley in view this is the perfect place to watch the sunset. We like to go on some short hikes here as a family just to enjoy the nature and get some fresh air.

This is my absolutely my favorite canyon. It has a wonderful waterfall reward at the end. It is about 2.5 miles to the bridge above the waterfalls giving a nice distance of a 5 miles round trip hike. It is steep enough to get some great exercise.

This is a great hike. A few friends and I decided to make a short lil backpacking overnighter trip out of the Grove Creek- Battle Creek loop, and I’ll admit I was a bit underwhelmed with the first half or so of the Grove Creak trail leading up to Indian Spring campground, but as soon as we hit the trees it was like we…

This Trail has it all. I hiked it late June, and the landscape was vibrantly green and lush. The views of Utah County and the lake were amazing. I loved being able to hear the creek and the water flowing through it. The hike itself was moderately difficult.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
