Confirmed from Beaver Falls Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Beaver Falls Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (318 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 14 mentions

“The falls were beautiful and not crowded at all, even with several families there.”

Posted a photo of the actual entrance to the trail. Maybe Google can put the trail on the map. The trail is pretty easy but does have some broken glass here and there. Careful if you bring your pets. Lovely view and relaxing.

It was helpful that I had read on Google reviews that the trailhead was on the left side of the parking lot since it is unmarked. The river was flowing fast which made the falls more dramatic. The trail was a bit muddy and made for some slick sections.

★★★★★ — George , Apr 2021

Great short in and back hike for all levels with some steep terrain. Trail is not maintained, so be aware of possible washout and fallen trees. The falls are a beautiful mellow falling curtain, and you can walk behind them! FYI - Not wheelchair accessible.

Such a beautiful trail to a gorgeous waterfall! The trail isn't long or hard. My young children competed it just fine. Dogs love this trail. Just keep them on their leash, and you'll be set. I highly recommend seeing this trail in every season, it looks so different and equally as beautiful in different ways.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
