Just got done with this hike with my two kids. (7 and 5) the beginning seemed to be a bit more rocky than most mentioned, then it eased up and was an enjoyable hike. What I wasn’t exactly prepared for was the last 100 or so yards being as steep and rocky as it was.
Breathtaking, advanced hike. Take more water and food, wear nice hiking shoes, and bring your endurance, you may need it. The trail is easy and you may think this is it ..but ohh no... the last mile had a super step incline. The views, waterfalls, creekside time are all worth it.
Beautiful hike that has a little bit of everything in a hike. Started at 750a and was at lower falls by 850a. Steady incline with plenty of plateaus in between at first, saw local wildlife along the way and got picture (can you find it?
Super fun hike. It took us about an hour to hike from the very bottom to the falls. The last mile or so is very uphill and like walking up huge stairs. It was still fun and a great exercise. The falls were so cool! They’re huge and roaring right now! I recommend going early in the morning before 8:00 am on a weekend.
