This is my go-to place for a walk in nature! Beautiful; most times it’s serene (unless people walk with their music loudly). One gets a sense of what it’s like in remote areas without having to go out of the way. While on a recent walk, we encountered a family of deer. It is a special place to walk, or ride your bike.
I started at Gibson Park, walked the trail and turned right. It was my first time on this trail. It was very peaceful. I love to hear the birds sing, watch the turtles on the logs in the water, and spot little lizards. I'll come back again and this time I'll go left.
A really long trail, seems endless. Very beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife and nice people
This is maybe the nicest Greenway in the entire Triad. Quite long, Mostly shaded, mostly flat, along a bubbling creek that makes for some gorgeous scenery. Suitable for walking or biking. A couple hills near several entry points but nothing dramatic. We're older folk and had no problems.
