Hidden gem in the city. Roughly 2 mile easier hike with some steps and incline changes. Educational and informational stops throughout, and tons of wildlife and wild flowers. Loved it!
Great place for short walk, hike, or run. I enjoyed seeing the prairie dogs and bunnies on the trail. The lake was covered in algae which saddened me. Trail is gravel and ADA accessible with designated places for little ones to play.
Absolutely a beautiful & peaceful place to connect with nature while being active. Amazing views of downtown and Denver's mountain skyline. Definitely recommend going here if you're looking for a place to walk with your family or by yourself.
This is an oasis of peace in an urban setting. It's more of a walk than a hike. But between the tree forts, the prairie dogs and the views, it's a place that fascinated my kids.
