Confirmed from Etowah River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly community park featuring a paved waterfront trail, playgrounds & a canoe launch.

This is my happy place!! I’ve been here countless times and it’s always clean, safe, well-maintained, and has a great vibe. There are so many great local events hosted here like 5Ks, food and music festivals, egg hunts, model plane competitions, dance classes, etc. Any of the events makes for a great time.
A Beautiful two day, (today & Friday) for a walk in the park. Go early in the summer to beat the heat. Plenty of walkers, joggers, bikers, dogs. But, not overly crowded. I noticed the concession stand opened today, also. I crossed the bridge over the Etowah River to go to Heritage Park on the other side.
Excellent paved path for walkers, runners, and cyclists. The trail is wide enough to accommodate everyone comfortably as it connects Heritage Park to Etowah River Park. Great infrastructure along the way, featuring a playground, amphitheater, and seasonal snacks. Very well-kept and scenic!
Beautiful park with plenty of parking and is free. There are restrooms, picnic tables, kids and pets play areas, and a walking trail that goes over the river and connects to Heritage Park. Both are very nice and clean.
