Confirmed from Cal Sag Trail Alsip, Ill's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring paved and kid-friendly trails.

Maintained well. Great bike riding trail. Can get busy at times, especially around Lake Katherine. More open with less stops the farther west you go. Cool waterfall feature east of Harlem Ave.
As of 6/17 its 13 paved miles long and when finished it will be over 20 , it connects to the I&M canal trail ( 90 miles long ) and it's all trail with street crossings
I absolutely Love this trail, I can't wait until they finish the East Crestwood leg. I wrote a big portion of my current book along this trail.
