Beautiful hiking trails. This area is the best kept secret for outdoor hikes. Dog friendly
This is excellent bottom land hiking, which can be spectacular in later Spring through the summer(when the wild flowers are good), and occasionally quite nice the rest of the time. The low water trail is just that - if the Meramec is in flood, this trail is under water.
This place out of the way. I wouldn’t even know about it if weren’t got google maps. This isn’t a place you want to visit after a rain. I didn’t walk all the trails, but the two that I did were a little muddy. This is definitely a place to visit throughout all the seasons. Everything appeared to be well maintained.
