Confirmed from West Tyson County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Open space known for wildlife, picturesque scenery & hiking trails with varying difficulty levels.

“Peaceful and parts along the river.”
Great walking trail, mostly level ground with a few minor obstacles like crossing a creek on a log, a few slippery creek banks and some occasional rocky areas that are slick. Bikes allowed but never see them there. Trail follows along the rivers edge all the way to the west edge of Castlewood trail and rock beach (1.
What a peaceful hike. We took the Chubb Trail since this was our first visit. Not too intense. We will return to try the other trails.
Nice park to hike. Beautiful woodlands and meadows. Hiked early morning with quite the bird song for background noise. Very pleasant.
I want to rate this 1 star to keep people away, but it's easily my favorite place to hike in the immediate STL area
