Confirmed from City of Waco Brazos Park East's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“Beautiful park to play disc golf, do some fishing at the river or just sit and relax while enjoying nature.”

Wonderful walking/biking trail along the Brazos River. Wide paved path transitions from open space right by the river to winding trail thru the woods. Goes all the way to Cameron Park where you can cross The Brazos and connect to the downtown trail.

This was a wonderful outing with the family in Waco. The park offered many cool things to do such as feeding the ducks which they were thrilled about, the playground area, and walking across the old the foot bridge.

★★★★★ — Rhonda , Jun 2018

Excellent day for a walk! Nice trails, nice scenery. However, someone’s vehicle was broken into, it was parked away from others. Make sure to park in well lit and visible areas.

Very beautiful part of the river, perfect view of the rocky hills on the other side. Very nice and clean and not crowded

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
