Confirmed from Miss Nellie's Pretty Place's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve with wildflowers, picnic facilities, and a fountain, plus a playground.
What runners say about Miss Nellie's Pretty Place
“Cameron Park is a beautiful place and Miss Nellie’s pretty place during the spring time is absolutely gorgeous.”
“Beautiful and peaceful with the birds and other sounds.”
This is a great place to see wildflowers, birds and walk on the trails while admiring nature. Perfect spot to relax and do nature photography. There is a playground nearby so it’s a great place to visit with little kids and the whole family. Parking is available nearby as well as public restrooms.
I like this place! Maybe would be cool if the gravel trails had a bit more in some areas, maybe some garden art. The Amphitheater is really cool, love the fountain. Maybe in the future, when they recoat/paint they can add sand to the mixture to prevent it being slick from rain.
It was a nice walk. The paths are so nice with great views. For a minute forgot I was in the city until I heard a car. They have a water fountain in front that is nice.
Love to sit by this beautiful fountain and look out at the nature preserve. They have several types of flowers blooming to attract bees and natural pollinators. There is also a walking area here. The entire Cameron park is my favorite place to be!
