Confirmed from Jacob's Ladder's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with picnic tables and a popular set of stairs providing a workout and scenic views.
What runners say about Jacob's Ladder
“Love Jacobs ladder, and then the hike through the woods is incredible with the scenery changing…never boring, great views!”
This is one of my favorite parks in Texas and I've lived in Waco for 3 years. And always visit the park and also Lake Waco. You can: Hike the 20mile Trail that includes bicycle Trails During spring and summer, they have kayaking and other water sports. Definitely can visit all seasons
I loved it. The stairs are really high and very steep incline. Go around and come back up again.
Year along scenic location in Waco. Its part of bigger Cameron park/trail (attached map). The climb isnt much but very steep. Duration- less than 20mins. Parking with sitting space is located next to the entrance with wheelchair accessible parking. Good time to visit- evening or early morning. #HappyVisiting
