Confirmed from Cold Creek Canyon Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cold Creek Canyon Preserve
“Nice hike: starts off at a creek and ends on top of the hills with beautiful views”
Super beatiful canyon fed by a rare (around these parts) year-round creek. Greener and more lush than most other nearby canyons/hiking areas. You can't go wrong with a walkabout here.
Nice hike: starts off at a creek and ends on top of the hills with beautiful views
This is a good place for an easy moderate hike. The trail seems to take you to a different place. As you start your hike, you begin to hear the creek that runs next to the trail. We visited this location later in the afternoon on the weekend. It was cloudy with a light drizzle, and there was plenty of parking.
Place is great, it could use better markers to keep people on the path. To keep the rest of the forest beauty intact

“Although the trail is mostly easy and well marked there, it does connect to other trails, so make sure to have a route planned out.”
