This trailhead leads to a bluff overlooking Goose Creek. Follow the blue blazes downstream along a segment of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail past old canal structures, golf courses, the Potomac River, and Bles Park at five miles. Follow the trail upstream along the bank to an old pumphouse(?

The trail is great just next to water all the way to Potomac river. I wish they had a parking lot on the trail head. We had to park our car long way out and walked to the trailhead.
