Good access to W&OD Trail down a short, but steep, path. Restrooms and lots of activity on the playground made this feel like one of the safer places to park near the trail

I've known about this trail my whole life, never been on it until today. Feel like I never knew! Completely amazing! If you're adventurous, and love to explore. Will take you back in time. I can imagine the train that used to be in service back in the day. Example, you ride from Purcellville Va, even further west?
I like to run the W&OD trail when I come to Virginia for work. This trail access is super convenient. The photo is from Goose Creek, a couple miles down the trail.
