Confirmed from Cushman Trail - Borgen Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cushman Trail - Borgen Trail Head
The best walk ever! Great workout sense there are hills! I love the little signs that look like road signs it's so cute! Crosswalks are included! Only bummer is it's right next the the 16. Start from either end. Paved path with road lines lol!!
The northernmost trailhead for the Cushman Trail so far. The powerline trail is walkable north of here with a small creek running through it when you get close to the hospital.
The north part of the trail has 7%,8%,&10% grade hills. Great if you have an ebike. The south trailhead off of 14th Ave is not crowded, at least during the week. And also flat for 2 mi. No bathroom at south end.
Really enjoyed this paved trail. We ride our ebikes here for the first time. Lots of hills but really enjoyable. Looking forward to riding here more.
Trail conditions & character
“The trail between here and the Grandview trailhead has some hills so it is both more fun and more challenging to ride than the section near the bridge to Grandview.”
“The south trailhead off of 14th Ave is not crowded, at least during the week.”
“Very nice paved trail with no steep incline for the first mile or so.”
“Super clean, very peaceful, its gig harbor so the people are nice and friendly.”
