Confirmed from Cypress Wetlands' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What a treat! We were staying nearby for a wedding, and we happened upon this wetlands. We also happened upon it during nesting season! We met a man on the boardwalk who had driven an entire hour to be here, and he had his camera and he was having a lot of fun observing the birds and alligators.

This wax a nice nature trail. It’s actually in the middle of a neighborhood, so it’s fairly populated with walkers. Beautiful scenery. There are no barriers for wildlife so walk at your own risk. I think the heavy foot traffic keeps them at a distance. I did see two alligators on the other side of the water.

Tucked behind a community center is this local gem. The amount and variety of birds throughout the trees is fun to watch. From the path, we saw a young gator by the water and a huge one relaxing under foliage across the way. If wildlife like it there, I love it!!!! Nice walking path through a little wildlife oasis.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
