Great, quiet trail. The path does not start where Google Maps has it marked. It doesn't start at Featherbed Ln at all. The start of the trail (and parking) is on Lee highway - if you're coming from Manassas/Sudley Road, the parking lot is on the right about a quarter mile from Featherbed (on your left past Featherbed…
This is a well marked trail. There are a couple of very manageable uphills. Placards describe the battles that occurred here and the role the Unfinished Railroad played. There is a small parking lot. Dogs are welcome, on leash.
An interesting walk on a rough trail with plenty places where you need to watch your step.
This was my favorite trail at the park. Crazy the history that took place here
