Confirmed from Stone Bridge Loop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Stone Bridge Loop Trail
“No "peak" so it's not the hike to go on if you are seeking elevation, but still a great place to get outside for all ages.”
There is a lot more trail than I anticipated! It starts off seemingly just just a small park loop, but really takes you deep into the fields and woods in the surrounding area. Definitely a great place to walk for several hours or even picnic for the day.
Nice short loop trail about 1.7 miles from the parking lot. Great during the fall when the trees are changing colors.
Nice trail, you can do a short 1.7 mile loop or the long trail which is about 5 miles but takes you to the visitor center and some historical houses and cannons. It a nice hike mostly gravel trails.
Nice trail. I hiked from Bull Run visitors center, about 3 miles. Took Manassea first trail which starts at the confederate cannon site.
