These trails are fantastic back here. It's so close to Denver yes provides a peaceful get away. The trails or perfect for running. There are some steep and rocky sections but also some exceptional single track. If I am trying to get in a trail run this is my go to trail system to head to.
Beautiful trail. Many route to go depending on desired of a hike. Biking also available on most parts of the trail. I would rate this trail intermediate since it has some steep slopes and icy during winter. The sceneries area to see over the Denver basin is absolutely gorgeous!
This is an excellent place to hike, especially in the fall. It's nice and quiet up here and the views to the east are really soothing. When you are done hiking, take a drive around the area and marvel at all the beautiful homes. This is just a really beautiful area to hike or have a picnic in one of the ramadas. 👍😍👍
