beautiful, easy hike. I believe it was a mile round trip to and from the falls. A loop that can be done either way from the start. Neat waterfall but amazing view right from the parking lot too.
It is right off the blue ridge parkway with plenty of parking. The trail is about a mile round trip and well marked. There are many landings and steps to see the waterfall. It is quite spectacular
We just finished up an inner tubing activity in Todd, and because is was so short we wanted to find a close by trail and Google steered us here. The overlooks aren't very open with over growth but the trails are nice. The hike down to the falls were pretty nice as well.
Great waterfall in the path to the left and am interesting one room church and two story cabin up the hill to the right. Both paths are well defined, easy to walk, even in dense fog! Very good stop on our way off the mountain this weekend!
