Beautiful trail system to run, hike, bike, birdwatching, and horseback ride. The parking lot is large, has two pit toilets, trail maps, and is easy to find. The trails are gradual and well maintained. It was nice to see several benches throughout to sit on and enjoy the views.
I love to take my kids to hike at English Point. The trails vary in intensity, and length. We have been on all of them, and mostly do the blue trail, it's the easiest, although it does have a steep incline. The rocks sticking up on the trail have been painted so you know what trail you are on.
Amazing place to hike year round. We take our dogs there all the time... on a leash... most others do too... Watch for muddy trails in the spring, otherwise it's fantastic all year long. Snowy winter is magical, and hit summer is a cool place to get out of the sun for a little bit.
Small series of trails easy to find right off Lancaster. Parking lot is medium size. Has bathrooms at trailhead start. People ride their horses 🐎 here also.
