Confirmed from Ernesto Gamez Cascade Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful park in Brownsville. Great for walking, Birding. Tons of places for kids to play. Pavilions and grill pits are readily available. Beautifully decorated during the holidays.

I love the fact that they keep up with the maintenance, yard work, everything about this place is well kept. You want go fishing 🎣 you got it, family event gathering, restroom are clean, they have to where can get wet, BBQ grills in every hut, you can take your pets for a walk with you.

★★★★★ — The , Jan 2026

It's a nice place over all but the playground part itself is really small and it's always busy after school and on weekends. There are pretty nice walking trails that go around the park with lots of palm trees. There are a ton of picnic tables with grills and outlets so great place to charge up your devices.

★★★★☆ — Kaitlyn , Mar 2023

Great park for the area. There's a toddler playground as well as older kid playground. There's a splash pad and boardwalk as well. It could use some updating/cleaning, but overall a great park option for kids.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 7 mentions

“Great park, nice view, lots of picknick areas with plenty of covered picnic table areas with BBQ grills for each.”
