We go several times a week and we LOVE IT! Beautiful clean walking paths around the lake and through wooded areas. The play areas are so big. And lots of shade. I'm so grateful to have the park. For myself and for my dogs.
I really enjoy the Elizabethtown Dog Park by Freeman Lake. The shaded areas with all the trees make it comfortable for both dogs and owners, especially on warm days. The people who come here are always friendly, and it has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
This is a great park with plenty of schade and space to run in both the big and the small enclosure. It seemed well maintained but water was not turned on and bags empty , the reason I removed one Star. The trees shed some berries which my dogs did sniff but did not eat. Parking is limited but off the main road .
Great open space for dogs to run, although some people don’t watch their dogs. We had a dog go after our dog after she got stepped on and yelped he tried to bite her, owners did nothing and just watched even when it was jumping on my mom after picking up our dog. Just make sure to watch your dog.
