Confirmed from Fiddlers Green Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“I love this place for its peace and quiet during my walks, and of course, for its incredible views!”

This was a quick walk from where I was staying in Jamesville. I want to enjoy a Pokemon Go event at a place with some stops. I love walking pretty parks during these events and was happy to know this one was down the street.

Hidden Gem ! Travel back in time 200 years. Beautiful well maintained walking trails in a wooded area along butternut creek behind the old Glenn loch restaurant in Jamesville NY. Take out what you bring in, very dog friendly. A must stop if your a nature lover.

★★★★★ — Michael , Mar 2024

Peaceful small wooded park on a creek. Nice place to take a short walk or wade in the water on a hot day.

★★★★★ — Emily , Dec 2023

This is an awesome place. Its in the middle of nowhere, the parking lot is tiny=(can fit maximum 5 cars), but the walk is awesome. The kids can walk, then when they get tired, they can just climb the rocks down to the butternut creek, they can put their feet in the water, can find snails, tadpoles ect....

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
