Confirmed from Fitts Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park with picnic tables and playgrounds, plus streams, a ninja-warrior fitness course, and a zip line.
What runners say about Fitts Park
“Large park, very clean, has playgrounds, a small creek and a large creek run through the park.”
“The rest of the park was beautiful and busy!”
“A serene and unique park with three different play areas interspersed with creeks, duck sightings and picnic areas”
Large park, very clean, has playgrounds, a small creek and a large creek run through the park. It does attract some rowdy teens occasionally. Great place to feed ducks.
Quiet little park tucked in a South Salt Lake neighborhood. It has a stream, some bridges, a large playground, and a large field. There are always ducks here. I love to walk the park in the morning enjoying the quiet, the views of trees, and the bubbling stream. It's a tranquil little spot early on.
Great local park in South Salt Lake. Lots of open space, 4 or 5 good sized gazebos with plenty of seating, and we'll taken care of. I walk here everyday and overall it's a great safe spot to recreate in town. There's also a bike stand with some tools and an air pump which is nice
Our kids 3-7 loved this park. There is a creek with running water, so beware if you have young kids. It was very pretty and there were ducks hanging out. The playground structures were great for 3-12 year olds
