Confirmed from Flicker Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene wooded park with paved paths, hiking trails & many native plant species.
What runners say about Flicker Trail
“Not much to see right now, but I suspect it's beautiful after fall rain.”
“Love all the trail options it has, including from an easy walk and harder ones with much more inclines!”
“Many people had off-leash dogs 🐕walking with them.”
Very nice hike. Did 1.8 miles, a little muddy in late February but doable in trail runners. Lots of moss and vines! Not a lot of elevation
my partner and i eat a lot of bananas and i would like to think that helps us on many levels of assimilation. on a recent outing at marquam nature park, we had the pleasure of meandering and doing our part to clean the trails of something akin to a word i've already mentioned.
Love all the trail options it has, including from an easy walk and harder ones with much more inclines! Very quiet & Peaceful. You can get a good exercise in!
Really lovely area to hike. You can pick from a variety of shorter and longer trails. The park is dog friendly. The only possible cautions are some areas are steep and it can get muddy if it rained recently.
Trail conditions & character
“Elevation gain is like 600 feet in less than a mile from Terwilliger to Fairmont, so if you are craving a steep path, this will do.”
“the one we took didn’t have views, but it’s a good one to do if you need some forest time after work.”
“Many people had off-leash dogs 🐕walking with them.”
“The only possible cautions are some areas are steep and it can get muddy if it rained recently.”
“8 miles, a little muddy in late February but doable in trail runners.”
